Videos Educate on Food Waste Problem

Overview

The Disruptive Innovation Festival is an annual virtual festival put on by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation with the aim to promote circular economy concepts and solutions to High School and College students to increase interest in sustainability careers. In 2016, they partnered with three sustainability schools to develop educational video content on different topics to display at the festival. As one of their partners, RIT’s Golisano Institute for Sustainability developed a series of three videos to educate students on notable problems with and solutions to food waste. I strategized the videos, identified the experts, performed the interviews, directed the shots, and determined the edits, while meeting a strict budget.
